In the Mesozoic era, the 2-legged, bipedal dinosaurs are called theropods. Theropods weren't able to fly in the Mesozoic era yet. Coelurosauria is the clade containing all theropod dinosaurs more closely related to birds than to carnosaurs. Coelurosauria is a subgroup of theropod dinosaurs that includes compsognathids, tyrannosaurids, ornithomimids and maniraptorans; Maniraptora includes birds, the only known dinosaur group alive today. The theropod clawed fingers and arms were the origins, evolutions and histories of the bird wings. Theropods were warm-blooded because of their feathers that incubated their eggs and warmed them up. The compsognathids, oviraptorids, troodontids, ornithomimids and dromaoesaurids were fast and agile. The theropods had long reptilian tails that helped them balance and sharp teeth that helped them chew on and eat meats. The other theropods like the tyrannosaurids, therizinosaurids, compsognathids and ornithomimids had hairy feathers called the plumulaceous
